CHINA BISTRO TO OPEN LAS VEGAS STRIP RESTAURANT

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (April 10, 2000) - P.F. Chang's China Bistro will bring its popular blend of traditional Chinese cuisine and inviting American hospitality to the Las Vegas Strip with a two-story restaurant inside the all-new Aladdin Resort & Casino, set to open August 17. P.F. Chang's is scheduled to open this fall.

Built into Aladdin's dramatic 17-story rockscape, P.F. Chang's China Bistro will offer seating for 360 on two levels, with an outdoor patio on the lower level and scenic views of the newest hotels along the Las Vegas Strip - Paris, Bellagio and Aladdin itself. The area features a dramatic waterfall, lush landscaping, a meandering pedestrian pathway and Middle Eastern architectural flourishes.

The Aladdin Resort & Casino will feature 2,600 exotically themed guest rooms; The London Club at Aladdin, North America's first European style gaming salon; the 7,000-seat Theater for the Performing Arts; and the Desert Passage shopping experience, offering more than 140 shops. The entire resort will offer the most shopping, dining and entertainment options in Las Vegas.

P.F. Chang's China Bistro at Aladdin will be open for lunch, dinner and late-night dining, serving its famous blend of fresh, high quality ingredients made to order by highly trained chefs and served by a knowledgeable staff in a striking post-modern environment. To create distinctive flavors, chefs focus on lightly sauced, intensely flavored dishes, attaining a harmony of taste, texture, color and aroma by balancing the Chinese principles of Fan and T'sai. Fan dishes include rice, noodles and dumplings. T'sai cuisine includes meat, seafood and vegetables.

An exhibition kitchen adds to the energy and excitement of the dynamic menu. The restaurant features an appetizer bar, two private boardrooms and two bars where guests can sip from an impressive list of more than 50 premium wines by the bottle and by the glass.

Completing the P.F. Chang's China Bistro experience is a luxurious yet comfortable ambiance highlighted by a 34-foot vaulted ceiling, grand staircase and Pullman booths dressed in rich jewel tones of red and gold depicting those on the Orient Express. P.F. Chang's China Bistro opened its first Nevada restaurant on Paradise Road in 1996. The company opened a second restaurant in Summerlin in July 1999.
